Aesthetic Medicine in Tenerife South – Natural Results with Medical Expertise
English speaking doctor
Aesthetic medicine is not about changing who you are. It is about looking fresher, feeling more confident and preserving your natural expression.
At MedCenter Tenerife in El Médano, all aesthetic consultations and treatments are carried out exclusively by our dermatologist and specialist in aesthetic medicine, Dr. med. Kai Rezai. Medical aesthetics tailored to your face and skin Every face is different. Skin quality, facial proportions, muscle activity and the natural ageing process all influence which treatment may achieve the best result. Every aesthetic procedure therefore begins with a personal consultation with Dr. Rezai. He will discuss your wishes, assess your skin and facial structure and recommend an individual treatment plan. The aim is always a balanced, natural-looking result. Botulinum toxin treatments Botulinum toxin – commonly known as Botox – can be used to soften expression lines caused by repeated muscle movement. Typical treatment areas include forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. The aim is not to create a rigid or expressionless face. When used carefully, botulinum toxin can produce a fresher, more relaxed appearance while maintaining natural facial expression. Hyaluronic acid fillers and lip contouring Hyaluronic acid can be used to restore volume, improve facial contours and soften certain lines and folds. It can also enhance the shape and definition of the lips. Lip treatment does not necessarily mean noticeably larger lips. Many patients simply want clearer contours, improved symmetry or subtle restoration of lost volume. Dr. Rezai places particular emphasis on results that remain harmonious and appropriate to the individual face. Medical radiofrequency for skin tightening Medical radiofrequency uses controlled energy to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin. This can support collagen production and gradually improve skin firmness and texture. The treatment may be suitable for patients who would like to address mild skin laxity without surgery. Depending on the individual skin condition, it may be used on the face, jawline, neck or other areas of the body. Upper eyelid correction Heavy or drooping upper eyelids can make the face appear tired and may sometimes interfere with the field of vision. An upper eyelid correction, also known as upper blepharoplasty, removes carefully measured excess skin and, where necessary, adjusts underlying tissue. The procedure can create a more open and refreshed appearance while preserving the natural character of the eyes. A detailed examination by Dr. Rezai is necessary to determine whether surgery or a less invasive treatment is the most appropriate option. Why specialist medical expertise matters Even minimally invasive aesthetic treatments are medical procedures. Detailed anatomical knowledge, sterile technique, appropriate product selection and the ability to recognise and manage possible complications are essential. Dr. med. Kai Rezai is an experienced German specialist in dermatology, allergology, laser therapy and aesthetic medicine. He personally performs all aesthetic treatments offered through MedCenter Tenerife. Patients receive honest advice about realistic results, possible risks, aftercare and whether a requested procedure is medically appropriate. Sometimes the best recommendation is a smaller treatment – or no treatment at all. Aesthetic medicine for residents and visitors in Tenerife South MedCenter Tenerife is located in El Médano and welcomes patients from across Tenerife South, including Los Abrigos, Golf del Sur, San Miguel de Abona, Las Chafiras, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje. Consultations are available in English, German and Spanish. To arrange an appointment, please specifically request an aesthetic consultation with Dr. med. Kai Rezai.
